Ryan S. Hinderliter, of Kutak Rock-Kansas City, Missouri, was elected partner as of January 1, 2025. Hinderliter is a registered patent attorney and focuses his practice on intellectual property law, with an emphasis on patent and trademark prosecution. He assists and advises clients of all sizes in identifying intellectual property protection opportunities, protecting their intellectual property rights, addressing concerns and maintaining their intellectual property portfolios in furtherance of their business goals.

Congratulations to Mark A. Dupree, Sr., President of the Kansas Bar Association, as the winner of the Best of 2024 President's Page Award for his article "Remembering Your Why", published in the July/August 2024 issue of the Kansas Bar Journal. This touching personal story reflects how past inequities can serve as a vital reminder of our highest purpose as attorneys. 

President Dupree will accept the award during the NCBP Midyear Meeting Awards Luncheon on Friday, January 31, 2025. This award recognizes the best of those messages sent by bar leaders to their members during 2024.
