The Kansas Bar Association Board of Governors announces a leadership transition at the Association. Effective immediately, Joe Molina has been appointed Interim Executive Director of the Kansas Bar Association as part of a leadership transition approved by the Board of Governors. 

In observance of America’s 250th birthday, the Kansas Bar Association (KBA) is giving away commemorative, pocket-sized copies of the U.S. Constitution on Wednesday, July 1 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. In a vote of 119-3 the Committee on Agriculture & Natural Resources passed HB2595 on Tuesday. HB2595 approves a $3,000 annual stipend for up to three years for law students who agree to practice in rural areas. The bill also created a student loan repayment program for attorneys practicing in rural areas.
