Join the Kansas Bar Association Leadership Institute – a unique four-month program designed to develop the next generation of legal leaders in Kansas. Participants will gain leadership skills, build lasting relationships, and access exclusive opportunities within the legal profession.

🗓️ Program Duration:

4 Months | Monthly Sessions (Hybrid Format)
Application Deadline: October 31, 2025

In-Person Kickoff: Wednesday, February 25 - Friday, February 27
Activities include welcome reception, dinner, and roundtable; tours of the Kansas Judicial Center and Kansas Statehouse; visits with judicial leaders and lawyer legislators; exclusive invitation to the KBA Court Appreciation Dinner; observe a KBA Board meeting.


🌟 Cost: $1,000 per person; we are offering $500 scholarships based on need – please request that with your application

📌 Who Should Apply:

Early-career Kansas lawyers (typically 0–10 years in practice) seeking to lead, serve, and grow. Preference will be given to rural attorneys.


Applications for Class of 2027 will be accepted in September 2026.
