Frequently Asked Questions
Are your programs accredited?
All of our programs are accredited in Kansas through KSCLE. Additionally, our live programs are typically accredited in Missouri. Please note that we do not accredit our On-Demand programs in Missouri. If you are curious regarding a specific KBA CLE accreditation, that information will be listed on the event's listing on this site.
How Do I Enter the Live Webinar?
Ensure you have created a Zoom account. You can create a free Zoom account here.
Twenty-four hours prior to your CLE, registrants will receive an email from Kansas Bar Association containing the event's specific Zoom Link and materials. Once you receive the Zoom Link, you will need to 'Register' for the event on the Zoom platform with your name, email, and Kansas Bar ID. Once you've provided these details to Zoom, an additional email will be sent to your email inbox from Zoom with the ability to 'Join' the webinar.
Access into the live webinar is only available through the Zoom Link; not the KBA website.
I have a question regarding how CLE credit, reporting, or compliance works.
The KBA is not the regulatory authority behind CLEs in Kansas. While we can speak to the specifics of our programs, for more abstract or broad inquiries, we recommend KSCLE's FAQ page: www.kscle.gov/faq/
I completed a KBA CLE; what should I do now?
We will automatically report your attendance in Kansas if you attended for the full duration and completed:
- For Live virtual webinars - the required attendance checkpoints.
- For in-person events - the provided affidavit.
- For On-Demand programs, the entire duration of the recorded CLE. Additionally, you must complete the required checkpoint polls.
How can I view my On-Demand Programs?
If you purchased an On-Demand program, you can access the course through the event page after registering. Alternatively, you can view the programs HERE. Then follow the steps below:
- Login using your KBA username and password.
- Click "My Online Learning" — you should see your course in either the "New and Upcoming Programs" or "In-Progress" tabs.
- Make sure you complete all the required steps - for more information, view our On-Demand Courses policies.
Why is my credit not showing up on KSCLE?
If it is a recent event, we may still be in the process of reporting your attendance. The Kansas Supreme Court Rules regarding CLE allow providers up to 30 days from the date of the program to submit attendance reports. If it is beyond 30 days, please contact us at CLE@ksbar.org with your inquiries.
How Can I Purchase an On-Demand Pass?
If you do not already own an On-Demand Pass for the current compliance period ending June 30, purchase the pass here.
Alternatively, you can add the On-Demand Pass when purchasing/renewing your membership.
How Can I Purchase Courses Using My Pass?
Ensure you are logged on to www.ksbar.org with your username and password.
Once logged in, you can register for any available course at the On-Demand Pass rate, available only for pass holders.
Please allow 24-hours for processing of your initial purchase of an On-Demand Pass. After this waiting period, pass holders will have access to the On-Demand pass rate.
