Topeka, Kansas — The Kansas Bar Association Board of Governors announces a leadership transition at the Association.
Effective immediately, Joe Molina has been appointed Interim Executive Director of the Kansas Bar Association as part of a leadership transition approved by the Board of Governors.
The Board extends its appreciation to Sabrina Thompson for her service to the Kansas Bar Association and wishes her success in her future endeavors.
Leadership transitions are a normal part of the evolution of any organization. The Board of Governors remains focused on advancing the Association's mission of supporting Kansas attorneys, promoting the administration of justice, and strengthening the legal profession throughout our state. The Kansas Bar Association remains financially sound, operationally stable, and fully committed to serving its members, the legal profession, and the public. All member services, continuing legal education programs, publications, legislative activities, sections, committees, and planned events will continue without interruption.
Joe Molina has served the Association for many years in a leadership role and possesses extensive knowledge of the organization's operations, programs, and member services. The Board is confident in his ability to provide steady leadership during this transition. As Interim Executive Director, he will work closely with the KBA Board of Governors, staff, and members to ensure a smooth transition while continuing to advance the Association's mission of supporting Kansas attorneys, promoting professionalism, and serving the public.
