Lawton R. Nuss, former chief justice of the Kansas Supreme Court, accepted the invitation from the Tribal Law and Policy Institute of Los Angeles to make presentations on veterans’ treatment courts.  His most recent program was presented in Phoenix at the 56^th Annual National Tribal Judicial and Court Personnel Conference sponsored by the National American Indian Court Judges Association.
