OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Special counsel Paul Breer has joined Foulston Siefkin LLP’s litigation practice in the firm’s Kansas City office, deepening the firm’s construction and litigation team.
Paul, an attorney with significant experience in construction disputes, focuses on construction law, civil and commercial litigation, and defense of professional malpractice. He has handled disputes in federal, state, and appellate courts. Before entering private practice in Kansas City, Paul interned for the Hon. Judge Joseph Ellis in the Missouri Court of Appeals. Paul’s experience has been recognized by his peers, and he was selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America® for 2021-2025 in the areas of Construction Litigation, Medical Malpractice Law, and Personal Injury Defense. Additionally, Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers® named Paul to the “Rising Star” list for 2022-2024 in the area of Civil Litigation.
Paul earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, where he served as managing editor of the UMKC Law Review, Moot Court board member, and vice president of the International Law Society. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Kansas, where he was also in the Honors Program, Sigma Alpha Lambda vice president, and was selected for the Director’s Award from the Dole Institute of Politics.
