I just need to ask a legal question…
Do you receive calls from individuals who have a legal question but are not financially able to retain an attorney? Kansas Free Legal Answers may be one resource that could help. So far this year, attorneys volunteering on this service have provided Kansans with over 400 answers to legal questions. This online platform is available at https://kansas.freelegalanswers.org/ and is funded by the American Bar Association (ABA) and the Kansas Bar Foundation through an Interest on Lawyer Trust Account grant.
This service is intended to provide an answer to a question and does not provide users representation. Volunteer attorneys determine the questions they would like to answer. While on the platform, attorneys are covered by the ABA for liability insurance. Volunteers like that they can devote as little or as much time as they like and that they can answer questions from anywhere through the website.
