Washburn University School of Law is excited to announce that we have completed initial production of the Kansas Rural Lawyers Network, a resource created for attorneys practicing in rural areas across the state of Kansas. Designed to bridge the distance and foster meaningful connections, this platform allows rural lawyers to connect, converse, and collaborate. Members can participate in discussion boards, share insights, and seek advice on unique rural legal issues. The network features job and event postings, keeping users informed about career opportunities and upcoming gatherings across Kansas. Whether you’re looking to expand your professional circle, find mentorship, or simply exchange knowledge with fellow rural practitioners, the Kansas Rural Lawyers Network will be your go-to hub for connection, support, and growth.

Membership is open to attorneys currently practicing in Kansas, as well as law students who intend to build their careers in Kansas, especially those interested in rural practice. The network was founded with the intention of being a free resource for the Kansas legal community, and we are committed to keeping it that way for as long as we are able to offer and support it. To receive your formal invitation to this new resource please email Cherokee.wright@washburn.edu we welcome you to join us in strengthening the ties that support rural legal practice across our state.
