Corey L. Moomaw has been elected partner at Foulston Siefkin LLP effective January 1, 2025. Moomaw, a tax attorney, primarily practices in the area of trusts and estates. He helps individuals, small business owners, farmers, and ranchers create and administer estate and succession plans that protect assets, mitigate estate tax liability, transition businesses or farms to the next generation, and fulfill philanthropic plans. He joined Foulston in 2018. 

A western Kansas native from Dighton, Kansas, Moomaw is a Juris Doctor graduate of Washburn University School of Law who earned a Bachelor of Science in agricultural business from Fort Hays State University. Additionally, he earned an LL.M. in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center and served as a legal extern for both the Hon. G. Joseph Pierron, Jr., at the Kansas Court of Appeals and the Hon. Elizabeth Crewson Paris in the U.S. Tax Court. He was selected by peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® in the area of Trusts and Estates for Wichita 2023- 2025. He is a graduate of the Heart of America Fellows Institute, offered by the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) to develop future leaders in trust and estate law. Participants must be nominated by an ACTEC Fellow.

Moomaw is a member of the Kansas Bar Association and the Wichita Bar Association (WBA), serving as chair of the probate and estate planning committee for the WBA, and writes and speaks on estate and trust-related topics. He’s also a member of the board of directors for the Phillips Fundamental Learning Center.
