KU Law Student Receives Prestigious Kansas Bar Foundation
Scholarship Award

(January 7, 2008) Topeka, KS—The Kansas Bar Foundation (KBF) recently presented KU law student Michael T. Crabb, Overland Park, with its inaugural Case, Moses, Zimmerman & Wilson, P.A. scholarship award along with a check for $1,000 at a special ceremony held at Bar headquarters in Topeka.

“We are very pleased to recognize the achievements of this deserving young man,” said KBF President Bruce W. Kent. “And we wish him well as he continues his legal education.”

“I am truly honored to receive the first-ever Case, Moses, Zimmerman & Wilson scholarship,” said Crabb. “It certainly helps relieve some of the burden of finances and allows me to focus on my studies.”

The new scholarship will be awarded each year to a second-year student attending the University of Kansas School of Law, Washburn University School of Law, or Creighton University School of Law. The criteria of the award include academic achievement, participation in community activities, as well as a bona fide intention to practice law in Kansas.

“We are excited to contribute to future Kansas attorneys, and hope that this will also promote the work of the Kansas Bar Foundation to further the good deeds of the legal profession,” stated David H. Moses, a shareholder in the Case Moses law firm.
