Kansas Bar Association to Sponsor Reception for Newly Sworn-In

(Sept. 26, 2006) Topeka, KS—The Kansas Bar Association (KBA) will host a champagne reception Friday, Sept. 29, to honor 190 new admittees to the Kansas Bar. The reception will immediately follow the 9:40 a.m. swearing-in ceremony at the Topeka Performing Arts Center at 214 SE 8th St. in Topeka. John W. Campbell, KBA Continuing Legal Education chairman, will present the newly admitted attorneys with a complimentary 2007 membership to the Kansas Bar Association.

Carol G. Green, Clerk of the Kansas Supreme Court, will administer the Kansas Oath, and Ralph DeLoach, Clerk of the Federal Court, will administer the Federal Oath. Chief Justice Kay McFarland, Kansas Supreme Court, will preside.
